Spring Trip Details!

Place: The proposed Spring Band Trip is to Valdosta, GA

When: Thursday March 31 thru Saturday April 2.  These dates prevent allow students to participate without missing days of school.  With the extended day calendar this alleviates worry about missed class time.

Cost: $150.00 per person which includes the following: Hotel Accommodations, Bus Transportation, Buffet Breakfast Each Morning, Dinner Friday Night, Admission to Wild Adventures Park, & Trip Shirt.

Payments: We will collect 2 payments of $75.00 in February and March.  Payments are non-refundable.  Once a student commits to the trip reservations and deposits will be paid and the full balance will be required.

Purpose: The trip has both primary educational objectives centered on the band program, and secondary educational objectives that serve as unique enrichment opportunities for the students.

• Primary Education Objectives: To enhance band curriculum by participating in an adjudicated band festival with nationally recognized judges.  Adjudication comments can be used to guide rehearsal plans for the ensemble.
• Secondary Educational Activities: Participate in the educational programs at Wild Adventures designed for High School students.  Wild Adventures has a wild animal park and programs designed for all grade lvels,
