Concert BandThe concert ensemble prepares music for formal concert events including Christmas and Spring. It is the goal of the concert band to perform music of the highest caliber, as well as popular entertaining works. They also prepare for evalution at the Georgia Music Educators Large Group Performance Evalution held in the spring. Recent years have seen the band earned Superior ratings on Stage and in Sight-Reading.
Marching BandBeginning in the Summer this ensemble is the most public face of the program; performing at all football games, several parades, and multiple community events. The Granger Band also competes in region marching festivals and competitions. In recent years the band has earned Superior, as well as Best in Class Ratings.
The Granger StarletsConsisting of three units; Majorettes, Color Guard, and Dance Line, the Auxiliary lines are front line visual ensembles that compliment the exciting performances of our Granger Marching Band. Membership is by audition held during the spring. Membership is open to anyone, but students without prior band experience will be required to learn to play an instrument for concert season.
An outgrowth of the marching band and percussion class, this ensemble performs with the marching band, as well as a solo entity for public events and competitions.
A concert ensemble consisting of members of the String Program. The ensemble prepares music for formal concert events including Christmas and Spring. Additionally the ensemble works to prepare individual members for performance in Solo & Ensemble events, as well as, other local performance opportunties.
